Marilyn spent the last year living in Rogers, Minnesota with family and was previously a resident of Buffalo, Minnesota. She was born on March 23, 1934, in Iowa City, Iowa. She was born to parents Hugh F. & Regina K. (McDermott) Smith. Marilyn spent her early years in Grinnell, Iowa and graduated from Grinnell High School. On August 4, 1956, Marilyn J. Smith and Eugene (Gene) W. Rabe were joined in holy marriage. God blessed their marriage with three children.
