Introduction

Hello everyone, welcome to Part 3 of our Walkthrough for Nastily Exhausting Wizarding Tests of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. During the previous part, you and Chiara managed to find Barnaby and get back to the Potions classroom just in time to take the Potions N.E.W.T.

Later on, you went to see Elton Elderberry, and he told you that one of the Transfiguration test questions would be about Professor McGonagall’s favorite transfigurations. After that, you found her in the courtyard and talked to her about her favorite transfiguration spells.

Now is the time to take the Transfiguration N.E.W.T. Head to the classroom when you are ready. Upon arriving, you will notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on them if you are curious to see what they have to say. You’ll approach Andre and ask if he’s ready for the Transfiguration N.E.W.T. He’ll smile and say that he is.

If you completed the Transfigure It Out adventure, you will get some additional lines of dialogue here.

Andre will then ask if you are ready for the upcoming test. There are two options to reply with. This choice won’t significantly impact the story, so feel free to pick either option.

Your friend will be quite confident that you are going to ace the exam. If you are dating Andre, you will get an additional dialogue line here.

Shortly after, the Transfiguration N.E.W.T. will start. The first part of the test is the written exam. You’ll need to answer several questions about various Transfiguration spells.

You can find all the questions and answers below.

• What incantation will turn a porcupine into a pin cushion? – Hystrifors
• Transfiguration is regarded as the most what of all magical forms? – Scientific
• What is the incantation for the Hardening Charm? – Duro
• Which of the following incantations can bring inanimate objects to life? – Piertotum Locomotor
• The ancient witch Circe was known to transform sailors into what animal? – Pigs
• From where does the Bird-Conjuring Charm conjure its birds? – Wand tip

Next, you will need to perform some Transfiguration spells. First, you will be tasked with casting the Bird-Conjuring Charm. This is a relatively simple tracing task.

After that, you will need to turn a porcupine into a pin cushion. This tracing task is slightly more difficult than the previous one.

Following that, you’ll need to use Reparifarge to reverse a Transfiguration. This is a fairly simple tracing task.

Lastly, you will need to switch a tortoise and a hare. This tracing task is slightly harder than the previous one.

Once the exam is over, Charlie will tell you that he is in a bit of panic. He’ll say that he is worried about the Care of Magical Creatures Exam.

The following lines will differ, depending on whether or not you completed Charlie’s Challenge adventure.

Charlie will ask you to meet him in the Dusklands, so go there when you are ready to continue. Once you arrive, Charlie will tell you that he is concerned about the Care of Magical Creatures N.E.W.T. You’ll find it odd, especially since he is quite knowledgeable when it comes to magical creatures. He will admit that he doesn’t know much about creatures that are not dragons.

Luckily, there is still some time left before the next test, so you’ll offer to help Charlie prepare. To complete this task, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. All five stars are required to pass.

This task is divided into four parts. The first part lasts until you fill up one-quarter of the entire star meter. During this part, you will find a bonus progress action tied to the Ashwinder.

The second part lasts until you fill up one-half of the entire star meter. There is a bonus progress action tied to Matagot. Prioritize it to save some energy.

The third part lasts until you fill up three-quarters of the entire star meter. During this part, you can find a bonus progress action tied to the Glow Bug.

During the last part, there is a bonus progress action tied to Charlie. Focus on it to save energy.

When you are done, Charlie will start feeling confident about the upcoming Care of Magical Creatures N.E.W.T. He’ll thank you for helping him. If you have completed Charlie’s Challenge adventure, you will get an additional line of dialogue here.

Charlie will suddenly realize that once the year is over, you won’t be seeing each other much. He will ask if you think that the two of you will stay in touch. There are three options to reply with.If you like Charlie, it is highly recommended that you select the first option.

Moments later, you and Charlie will leave the place and head to the Care of Magical Creatures classroom. When you arrive, Professor Tofty will inform you that some magical creatures are missing.

You will quickly offer to help find them. To complete this task, you need to earn five stars within three hours. All five stars are required to pass.

Make sure to slide the screen left and right to see all the available actions. There is a bonus progress action tied to your character. Prioritize it to save some energy.

Luckily, you will manage to catch all of the missing magical creatures.

Shortly after, the Care of Magical Creatures N.E.W.T. will begin. The first part of it will be the written exam. You will need to answer several questions about various magical creatures.

The second part of the test is the practical exam. First, you will need to determine what care the Matagot needs. This is a focus task.

Next, you will be tasked with luring back an escaped Ashwinder. This is a relatively simple tracing task.

After that, you will have to feed a Fire Crab. This is a focus task.

Lastly, you’ll need to determine which food is most appropriate to feed a sick Quintaped. This is another focus task.

Once you are done, you’ll approach Chiara and ask how she did. She’ll tell you she did quite well. You’ll notice that she sounds very confident. She’ll say that she did a quick review before the test.

She’ll ask if you would like to join her in the library for a study session before the Charms N.E.W.T. If you completed Charmed Adventure, you will get an additional dialogue line here. Also, if you are dating Chiara, you’ll receive some extra dialogue.

Head to the library when you are ready to continue. Once you arrive, you will notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on them if you are curious to see what they have to say. Chiara will be glad that you agreed to a last-minute study session with her. She’ll suggest starting with a few quiz questions.

She will first ask you about a charm that would be handy in a downpour. There are three options to choose from.The correct answer is ‘Impervius’.

Chiara will then ask you to name a spell that can help you quench your thirst.The correct answer is ‘Aguamenti’.

The following line will differ, based on whether or not you answered the questions correctly.

Chiara will tell you she cannot stop thinking about life after Hogwarts. Because of that, she is finding it hard to focus on the upcoming test.

You’ll tell her that Charlie is also thinking about the same thing. The choice you made while talking to Charlie will take effect here.

Chiara will smile and say that she doesn’t have to worry about staying in touch with you. As a Healer, she will more than likely see you often.

You’ll then get to talk to Chiara about the things that are worrying her. To complete this task, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. All five stars are required to pass.

There is a bonus progress action tied to your character. Prioritize it to save some energy.

Chiara will thank you for hearing her out and say that she is feeling much better. She will ask if you are feeling excited or scared about graduation. This choice won’t significantly impact the story, so feel free to select either option.

Not long after that, the two of you will leave the library. This will mark the end of Part 3 of the Nastily Exhausting Wizarding Tests adventure. Hit the Collect button to claim your rewards. You will receive 3 Gems.
