Star Trek: Picard: Season 3 | Rotten Tomatoes (1) Melanie McFarland Salon.com It is not like Star Trek: The Next Generation, in the sense that it mimics a conspiracy thriller as opposed to a philosophically driven space odyssey. But it is "Star Trek," and a fitting closer Mar 2, 2023 Full Review Star Trek: Picard: Season 3 | Rotten Tomatoes (2) Ed Power Daily Telegraph (UK) It’s wonderful. It’s also officially the end. Trekkies will be overjoyed – and then devastated the fun is over almost as soon as it has begun. Rated: 4/5 Feb 18, 2023 Full Review Star Trek: Picard: Season 3 | Rotten Tomatoes (3) Eric Deggans NPR The only question left — at least for me — is whether Paramount Global will have the good sense to keep a great Trek series going, just as it has finally found a thrilling new voice. Feb 16, 2023 Full Review Star Trek: Picard: Season 3 | Rotten Tomatoes (4) Jeremy Jahns JeremyJahns.com In the end, this is the final mission for the next generation crew that they deserve. Jun 18, 2024 Full Review Star Trek: Picard: Season 3 | Rotten Tomatoes (5) Ilan Preskovsky Channel24 (South Africa) The second season completely tied up most of its characters and storylines and cleared the stage for current showrunner, Terry Matalas, to finally make the Next Generation sequel that fans had wanted all along. Rated: 4.5/5 Jul 25, 2023 Full Review Star Trek: Picard: Season 3 | Rotten Tomatoes (6) Jessie Gender Jessie Gender YouTube Channel While the season provides excellent reunions and nostalgic moments, it also serves as a reminder of the missteps of 90s-era Star Trek that other modern Trek series have moved past. It's a bittersweet goodbye; but a necessary one for Trek to move forward. May 2, 2023 Full Review Read all reviews

Jeremy Z Absolutely loved the creative writing of the 3rd season especially, excellent acting from well-loved characters, and kept the end out of sight until the finale, where in a powerfully emotional way closed the chapter to old friends of the Next Generation and opened it to the new with Jack Crusher. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/22/24 Full Review Audience Member Star Trek Picard has redeemed itself with this season. Would be nice to erase season 1 and 2 from memory though. But this is what we all wanted to see when we heard a picard show announced. Rated 4.5/5 Stars • Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 06/19/24 Full Review Regulus Alkaios, C While it's nice to see the gang back together (why weren't they all in it from the start?), this season relies heavily on your nostalgia and the (admittedly still great) chemistry between the stars to trick you into loving it. Once you take off the nostalgia googles you'll see all the same flaws in the writing and overall premise that made the previous two seasons so bad. It relies heavily on you forgetting previous scenes as the plot unfolds, lest you start scratching your head and going "wait a minute!" Oh and Raffi is still bad, made worse when contrasted to the other cast members.I suspect it'll age like milk in the public perception once the honeymoon period of seeing the Enterprise D grace our screens again wears off. Rated 1.5/5 Stars • Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 06/15/24 Full Review Ranger P THAT IS HOW IT’S DONE! Terry Matalas did his homework and delivered a masterpiece. What an amazing reunion for the cast and now I’m wanting STAR TREK LEGACY to move forward! Everyone: cast and crew, take a bow! Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/14/24 Full Review Joern B Not outstanding, nostalgia-heavy, you can watch it. Rated 3/5 Stars • Rated 3 out of 5 stars 06/11/24 Full Review Richard K Season 3 manages to make a recovery in quality that is nothing short of miraculous. Essentially this is the last chapter of Star trek, and a fond farewell. Do yourself a favor and skip the dire season 1 and 2 Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/09/24 Full Review Read all reviews
