Connecting Future Leaders, Berlin | 4th March
This was the first of many Connecting Future Leaders events to be hosted in Germany. This time it was hosted at Crown Plaza Potsdamer Platz.
HFTP and HSMAI Europe joint networking evening | Berlin – 6th March
HSMAI Region Europe and Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP®) successfully held a networking event in Berlin. Hospitality, tourism, and travel industry professionals were invited, providing an opportunity to connect with colleagues the hospitality and travel industries.
HSMAI Future You in Oslo | 11th March
Future You was hosted on 11th of March, and is a Norwegian pilot project created to meet the industry’s need to recruit young talents in the coming years. This has now been hosted twice in Oslo, Norway. The event was created to highlight the variety of exciting career opportunities, including marketing, sales, revenue management, hotel management and more within the hospitality and tourism industry. Invited participants were graduating pupils from Oslo area high schools, as well as students at selected universities and colleges.
HSMAI Meeting & Event Exchange in Oslo | 12th March
HSMAI hosted the Meeting & Event Exchange, on the 12th of March in Oslo at Thon Hotel Storo. This is an event where HSMAI brings together several of its members including hotels, hotel chains, and suppliers of conference venue services to meet with corporate buyers.
HSMAI Awards Norway 2023 | 12th March
HSMAI Awards Norway 2023, was also hosted at Thon Hotel Storo, and was a great success where the Norwegian Hotel & Travel industry was honoured.
Connecting Future Leaders, Oslo | 14th March
This has now become a regular event in Norway, and was hosted for the 6th time in Oslo in March at Scandic Solli. There were about 50 attendees 35 years and young and this has become a great success!
Breakfast Meeting in Copenhagen | 18th April
Aligning for Success – Customer-Centric Revenue Strategies for Today’s Hotel Leaders was the topic of this meeting. Discussion was led by Anders Johansson from Demand Calendar/Hospitality Visions at Comfort Hotel Vesterbro in Copenhagen. Next time is in September this year!

Connecting Future Leaders in London | 25th April
Hosted on Thursday 25th April at the Savoy, the first full Connecting Future Leaders event in the UK was a great success. Connecting Future Leaders, an event for young talents and leaders in the hotel, event, and travel industry. Our aim is to facilitate professional and social gatherings for the exchange of experiences and networking among young talents and leaders aged 35 and under.
Virtual Roundtable for Senior Revenue Management Executives April 29th
In a virtual roundtable discussion hosted by HSMAI Europe, senior revenue management executives gathered to delve into the evolving landscape of Creating a Total Revenue Management (TRM) Culture in the hospitality sector. After a short introduction to the topic by Pär Augustsson, VP Total Profit at Strawberry (formerly Nordic Choice Hotels) and member of the HSMAI Europe Revenue Optimization Advisory Board, the participants shared their experience and brought up crucial topics aimed at driving revenue growth and enhancing operational efficiency. The discussion was moderated by Shumi Khan, SVP Business Intelligence & Revenue Management Accor Hotels and Chair of the HSMAI Europe Revenue Optimization Advisory Board. Here are the key takeaways
Roundtable for Senior Commercial Leaders | Frankfurt: May 13th
Our recent roundtable in Frankfurt brought together senior sales and revenue management professionals with hospitality data giants to enhance MICE business intelligence. The discussions identified trends and data requirements to better plan meetings and events strategies, paving the way for more profitable MICE business in the industry.

In Athens, we successfully organised a press conference that gathered prominent executives from Greek hotels, technology companies, and industry organizations.
